At least I had a nice afternoon in New York City.

I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Honey, as much as I wished a happy card your way, I just don't think you need the added stress right now.

A happy card for you now would be that FSiL has had his leave approved.

You can try again for BAM. This wedding is a once in a lifetime.

Sorry about that. It's a tough game we're playing.

I guess the theory a taped interview is an automatic happy card is now thrown out the window. Maybe it already was. It's hard to keep up.

Looks like our club that nobody wants to belong to isn't losing many members this season.

Sorry to hear that, gsabc. FWIW, I don't think I would have ever made it onto the show via the audition route. I don't seem to have what they are looking for (at least I didn't at the Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader audition that Rexer and I went to this past Saturday).

It seems like, right after I was on the show, I sent you and maybe two other people an e-mail about improving one's chances in the old phone game. I don't know if you remember that or not. But fat lot of good that did, since the month I made it on was the last time they used the old phone game...

Keep trying and good luck...

It's not like they would have called for a taping before the wedding. THAT would have been stress! Woulda been nice to be waiting for The Call at some later time this year or next, though. :?

GW has MotG on the case for beating on FSIL about the leave. I overheard them talking on the phone last night about it. Since MotG is also a retired army member (along with FotG), it sounded like she was explaining the tortuous pathway such requests have to take.

I'd better not let GW see that another lovely lady is calling me "honey". :)

We already had evidence to disprove that when KT's friend got the Sad Card. And it makes sense that they're taping the second audition to show it to other members of TPTB who will have input into the final casting decisions, so some of those will be rejected. (Contrariwise, even if one particular AP wants to give an auditioner a Happy Card on the spot, there's no reason not to tape that person, so that the tape can be shown to those mystery PTB for confirmation.)

Probably Michael Davies checking to make sure they're not MAWGs in blue shirts.
