Five weeks and counting.
The dog-sitter is set up. GW reminded me that we should also retain him for the rehearsal dinner the day before. It won't be quite as long as for the wedding itself, but still, we won't be home before 8:00PM at the earliest, after leaving around noon.
RSVP's are due back tomorrow. We should have all of them by then. Uh-huh. The MoH hasn't even sent hers back! It's not as bad as it sounds. We pretty much know who's coming and who isn't.
More details. Getting all the names for children for their place cards. Getting last names for HS's GF and nephew's fiancee. Finalizing the wedding party and letting the rabbi know, so that he can give us the order of the procession. Getting the rabbi to finalize the sermon, so he can give us a copy for the ASL interpreter. Getting final fittings on the gown. Making the final decisions on the music with the DJ. Oy.
And still, we have not heard definitively about the groom's appearance.

Minor little detail, GS. I am confident he will show up.
