If you write the numeric date as yearyear/monthmonth/dayday, or in format "aammjj", as it tends to be referred to, and tends to be used as the usual format here in MTL.

August 7, 2006... the day I drove back to Chicago to see the White Sox/Angels game that had gotten rained out that May....
I remember it well....
BTW, I hate that Where's George switched to this dating format last November despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of its users are from America and use the good old fashioned American dating system of mmddyy..... doing the mental conversion in my head isn't easy when you're so used to looking at dates a different way....
