I took the day off work today to play the local regional. The Stratified Pairs game had 31 tables in two sections. We tied for a section top in the morning with approximately 57.5%, and had a second section top in the evening with about 58%.
You'd think, with back-to-back games that good, we'd be in the running to win the event. Alas, it was only good for sixth. The five and a half gold points for the section tops was worth more than the overall award. --Bob
