And the June 2008 QoD winner is......

#1 Post by mrkelley23 » Mon Jun 30, 2008 3:07 pm

Andrew Jackson!!!!!

What a comeback by the Boilermaker Express!

KT's fate was sealed by the Mom on the Little House on the Prairie -- a delicious irony, if I do say so myself.

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who got a chance to play this month. Whether you played once or every time, it certainly makes the job more worthwhile to know there are people playing along.

I hope next time I make the commitment I'll be able to fulfill it more completely. I know it's not as fun when you're not getting daily score updates and other stuff, but if I'd tried that, I would have given up completely after a week or two, and as fanny pointed out, that's even less fun.

I'm going to work on a Tangredi-style game next, and I've already got a few days worth of Lyrically Speaking written, so I hope to be back hosting soon. Until then, I'm ready to play!!!

I bow to AJ's superiority! This was a terrific month, Mike....I learned stuff, which is the best part, and I enjoyed myself, which is a close second.
There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.

Woo Hoo!

I thought KT had it wrapped up so I wasn't really following the standings very closely.

But I'll take it.

As I said in the Standing thread my intention is to keep the QoD going for another month at least.

I can't guarantee that there will be Q's posted on July 1 but things will get rolling soon.
No matter where you go, there you are.

A most excellent QoD reign, I must say. Thanks very much for all you did/do. Congrats to the top finishers!
