Who's in Vegas today?

#1 Post by MarleysGh0st » Wed Jun 25, 2008 8:32 am

Any BBs going to this cattle call?

Good luck to Second Chance, if this newbie decided to.

I'm betting that the line includes three generations with a last name you'd recognize.

Including a father and daughter from The OC who left on a mysterious 24-hour "errand"? 8)

Hmm, mom, son-in-law and spoiled grandaughter - I hope there's a laundromat nearby! :D

Did you mean "soiled" grandaughter?

Shhh... we don't want to jinx them.

You people have had quite the laugh on my attempts to enjoy my family's company while not interfering in their everyday lives. Don't you no what a mother goes through just to show her family how much she loves them? I'm in a city that I can't stand, trying to pass a test that I don't even understand in the first place, with my lovely son-in-law, who still drives me up the wall with all his schemes to get on television (if he had any talent, Ed Sullivan would have called), and my bratty granddaughter, while my freshly rinsed out "things" are drying over the shower curtain in my flea-bag hotel room. At least only one of the girls is here. I couldn't stand all the complaining if they were both wanting to get on TV.

That reminds me...sweetie, what should I get Maddie as a "congrats" gift for Quiz Bowl? Maybe a picture frame or something to show off her prize? Just let me know and I'll be down to deliver it as soon as I can find something appropriate for such an occasion.
There is no burden too great for a mother to bear.

Uly, darn you and your avatars. I'm still trying to connect a black cat and scratching post to Afghanistan, thank you very much.

Thanks, Marley - and all who chimed in. My fiendish subconscious lured me to pass out on the sofa until it was too late to leave. All for the best, methinks; let's see what the postman brings.
