Prayer request

#1 Post by gsabc » Fri Jun 20, 2008 7:26 am

The father of one of our staff was killed yesterday by a drunk driver. Dad was out on his motorcycle and the drunk clipped him. Nick and his dad were very close. We're a small company, so something like this hits all of us hard.

I didn't know the dad, you certainly don't, but I'm a believer in the prayers, vibes and whatever that come from here. Send some out to Nick and his family, please? Thank you.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

You got it. What a shame.

Ditto. I realized the other day that my sister who was killed by a drunk driver when she was 21 would have been 50 this year. It still feels like it was yesterday, and I still feel like a piece of me was torn out. [I was standing between her and another girl who was killed, but I was saved unscathed by a guardian angel. No joke. No other explanation.]

Thoughts and prayers for Nick and all who love him.

Love,
Catfish
