On millionairetv.com, you can now request tickets for July 23 to 31. The taping season is from July 22 to November 5. (Have tickets for July 22 sold out already?)

Also, there will be another specialty show next season: 3 Generations, with auditions in NYC July 12 or at any of the road auditions.

From the site: "[E]ach family must receive a cumulative passing score" on the qualifying test.jarnon wrote:Also, there will be another specialty show next season: 3 Generations, with auditions in NYC July 12 or at any of the road auditions.
Cumulative? So three related people, none of whom can pass the test on their own, may qualify. Swell.
On the bright side, the youngest member of the team needs to be only over 12. The time may have come for JSuchard, Maddie, and PSM's mother to make their cumulative hot seat debut. (JS and the Madster can ignore all answers provided by grandmother/mother-in-law. They'd still have to go to New York with her, though, so that might not be worth a million dollars.)

I just had an epiphany! or a brain fart, I'm not sure.
Annie, her birth grandfather and I will make a team. The "facts" that Annie is only 8, and her birth grandfather doesn't know she exists (at least to my knowledge) shouldn't stand in our way.

Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!
That'll be $10, please.

Now that could be interesting. My older son turns 13 this August and is relatively tuned in to things for his age bracket. I'm a little concerned about my the older generation choice (I'd be in the middle). I'd guess we'd have to use my mother. I'm not sure if we'd pass as a group but we might.silvercamaro wrote:From the site: "[E]ach family must receive a cumulative passing score" on the qualifying test.jarnon wrote:Also, there will be another specialty show next season: 3 Generations, with auditions in NYC July 12 or at any of the road auditions.

I think it more likely that this allows for not more than one weak member of the team. If 75 of 90 (25 of 30 times 3) is still the passing score, than two members with high scores would make up for a lower score from the third. Conceivably, one with a very high score could make up for the other two if they were just under the normal passing level.silvercamaro wrote:From the site: "[E]ach family must receive a cumulative passing score" on the qualifying test.jarnon wrote:Also, there will be another specialty show next season: 3 Generations, with auditions in NYC July 12 or at any of the road auditions.

Sort of like 'BAM meets Family Feud. Could be interesting, could be a disaster. Could be no team will qualify, unless PSM can disguise herself as Granny Clampett or Thelma Harper. From her posts, I don't think the family would survive a trip to NYC with Mom.
And when is Father-Daughter week? Mother-Son? Older Couple "Play to Pay for a Second Honeymoon" week? Is this the "excitement" promised for season 7?
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

PSM - how about if I adopt you? We'd smoke 'em!
