I bet Google is available in Oklahoma

#1 Post by themanintheseersuckersuit » Fri Jun 13, 2008 7:15 am

Teaser of the day brought to you by Suitguy.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Huh? I thought I knew what Suitguy's post meant, not that it could possibly have been directed at me or anything, but Kay's response seems to blow that out of the water. Who knows who? Who knows what? I cannot Google the answers to those two questions.

I could be wrong about that. Pay no attention to me unless I get back to you later.

I got the feeling it had something to do with today's show, not that I would know the specifics....

Oh. Okay. The show doesn't come on here until noon. I'll watch to see if it all makes sense before 12:30.

This is about today's WWTBAM, not the fact that you are ahead of me on sploofus, heck you don't need google to do that.

If you haven't seen the show yet today, do NOT open the spoiler. No, really, don't do it.
Spoiler
I think that Carol, the PAF, may be the woman who is the wife of an Oklahoma politician (whose name I don't remember.) She made a few posts on the board (this one or the previous) when she was a contestant.

Not that it has anything to do with anything, but I can guarantee you that baccarat is not a game played at any of the Indian casinos in this state.
