Stupid jackass. Shame on Desormeaux for caring more about the animal than the race! I didn't watch the race, but I felt so bad for Desormeaux when I heard the results. I thought maybe he'd finally get his after the Real Quiet thing.starfish1113 wrote:This trainer is a world class a-hole.

But I thought it was funny when all the headlines say stuff like "Da' Tara denies Big Brown the Triple Crown". Well, I guess he did. Along with 8 other horses. They have to make it sound like it was all exciting and he got beat by a nose and all that.
They were tempting fate with this horse the whole way, with the 'foregone conclusion' remark, having a jockey with a Belmont curse, even by naming him Big Brown. There will never be another horse that comes close to Big Red.
