I was doing inventory this morning in the 'F' section, and pulled out books and found an old, very dusty copy of Horatio Hornblower by C.S. Forester. It's a first edition signed by the author. It's never been checked out. . .

The library labelling probably hurts a bit, but that's still a valuable book!

I used to love to roam around at the main branch of the Philadelphia Free Library. Found all sorts of interesting things.
