Movie Release Day

The Christian faith based nudist movie Naked as Created: The Pastor Jim Moore Story was released for digital rental ($4.99) and purchase ($9.99) on Amazon Prime today. DVD and Blu-ray editions of the movie also went on sale today. I play one of the lead antagonists in the film, and we had to overcome many obstacles to get this movie finished. We were evacuated two days into the shoot because of the January 2025 Los Angeles fires. The studio we had been using was under a different evacuation order, so we couldn’t go back there. We lost one of our lead actresses due to a medical issue related to the smoke in the air. Thankfully, we hadn’t shot any of her scenes yet, so we didn’t have to reshoot anything at any location that we couldn’t go back to. We found a replacement actress who is the real life daughter of the character she was playing, and Shangrila Ranch in Arizona offered us a replacement location.
