She forgot to involve an alligator.

Florida has standards, ya know.

From down under:

Police recover a swallowed Fabergé pendant after a 6-day wait for it to reappear

Guess where they recovered it. The egg-shaped pendant was inspired by the movie Octopussy.
Octopussy may not rise real high in the Bond canon-but the screenwriter was my favorite author-George MacDonald Fraser.

 I already sent that to Randy Cassungham.

Florida pickleball brawl involving up to 20 people results in paddles to the face and felony charges

A Florida couple is facing felony battery charges following a heated pickleball brawl, officials said.

Deputies were dispatched to the Spruce Creek Country Club in Port Orange, a city about 57 miles northeast of Orlando, at 11 a.m. on Sunday after a 911 call described a fight on a pickleball court involving up to 20 people, according to a Volusia Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit.

Anthony Sapienza, 63, and his wife Julianne Sapienza, 51, were arrested after multiple people sustained injuries, including a 70-year-old man, the affidavit said.

Victims say the match got "heated" after Anthony Sapienza accused his opponent of crossing into the "kitchen" — a restricted area of the court.

A story near and dear to the hearts of everyone on this Bored:

Llamas Help Foil Fleeing Thief
A group of llamas has been praised as unlikely heroes for helping to capture a petty thief. Graham Oliver, from Derbyshire, England, told The Washington Post his eight llamas had caught his attention by crying out, prompting him to go check on them—only to find that they’d surrounded a strange man on his property who looked terrified. “I wanted to know what he was doing in my field,” Oliver said. “And he said he’d come through a hole in the fence.” When Oliver asked where the hole in the fence was, the man showed him, then jumped over the fence and ran away. After spotting police in the area, Oliver alerted them to the man’s incursion on his farm and learned he was wanted for allegedly stealing packets of tobacco from a woman nearby. Oliver then told officers which direction the suspect had run off in, and he was soon detained. Oliver’s wife, Heidi Price, said her llamas should receive some recognition for helping with the arrest. “They acted responsibly, efficiently, in an organized manner,” Price said. “Quite frankly, I think they did pretty good police work.” She noted that they can be “intimidating” despite not being aggressive, adding, “Their only defense mechanism is spitting.”

Florida Man Gets Pulled Over Because Even In Florida, You Can't Have Missiles Mounted On Your Truck

The Florida Highway Patrol pulled over a missile truck last week. No, not an official HIMARS artillery system — we mean a Ford Maverick pickup truck sporting a brace of rocket-propelled ordnance in the flatbed. When the cops went to go see who the driver was, they were stunned to discover that it was none other than a Florida Man! Perhaps still reeling from crashing a Mustang through an airport fence, Florida Man (this time going by the alias Michael Nipper) insisted his DIY missile truck was entirely benign and harmless. The highway patrol responded by calling in the bomb squad, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the Plant City Police Department, and the Plant City Fire Department to set up an emergency perimeter.

Children race to gather marshmallows dropped from a helicopter at pair of Michigan parks

WESTLAND, Mich. (AP) — It was cloudy with a chance of marshmallows at two Detroit-area parks Friday as kids raced to collect thousands of the gooey treats dropped from a helicopter.

The annual Marshmallow Drop, hosted by Wayne County Parks, took place two hours apart in Trenton, Michigan, and Westland, Michigan.

“It was great. The weather is beautiful, and I think this is a great thing to do with all the kids to start off Easter and the weekend, so yeah, I think it’s wonderful,” said Anna Grote (GROH’-tee), a Westland resident who attended with her boyfriend and his 10-year-old son.

Hundreds of children at each place cheered as the helicopter passed by on its way to the drop zone. Once there, a passenger unloaded the treats out of a sack and onto the grass below. The helicopter made three passes, dropping marshmallows for kids in different age groups.
