Hey, it's not Kansas City!
Seattle will have their starting QB.

Could be a problem for New England.

Charlotte is in a dither, those who care.

Sam Darnold is one of several QBs who played here and then did much better elsewhere, on teams with actual offensive linemen (which we have now, but not then) and good coaching (which again, we have now, but not when he was here).

Drake Maye played at Myers Park High in Charlotte, and then at North Carolina. It's absurd to be rooting for a 23-year-old QB in a Super bowl, but here we are.

Both teams beat the Panthers this season, so there's that.

If the Patriots win, they will have the most Super Bowl victories (7).

If the Patriots lose, they will have the most Super Bowl losses (6).

This will be the 60th Super Bowl and the 12th appearance for the Patriots. They will have played in one fifth of the games. But despite the run they had in the Brady-Belichick era, if they lose this one they will have only a .500 record in Super Bowls.

I know you’re just trolling, but…

Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowls: 2-0
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the team with the league MVP in the first using a journeyman QB
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated a future Hall of Fame QB in the second.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers won both games handily and never got embarrassed 34 -7 in a Super Bowl.

This is fun.

I'll add that no team from Houston has ever lost a Super Bowl.

Neither has any team from Detroit.

Nor Cleveland or Jacksonville.
