Here are the final CFB Playoff rankings. The top four teams will get first-round byes, and 5-8 will host first-round games.

The top five conference champions got automatic bids, along with the next seven best teams. The committee felt that Tulane and James Madison were higher ranked than ACC Champion Duke. They may also have ranked Miami ahead of Notre Dame because of Miami's head-to-head win. There is one first round regular season rematch. Earlier this year, Oklahoma beat Alabama at Alabama. They host the rematch.
