Especially for those who have 'everything'

Turn Me Royal 'paintings' are a great deal of fun. And they have a pretty quick turnaround.

Not really. Surgery was originally scheduled for 10/22. THAT would have gotten me out of decorating duties. But no, because I have an elevated right diaphram only allowing my right lung to operate around 50%, and that the surgery is on my left side and they will be numbing the left side, possibly affecting the performance of the left diaphram/lung, they want my oxygen levels to be monitored for 24 hours after the surgery. So the anesthesiologist said "no can do in the scheduled outpatient center", so we had to rescheule to 12/8 (earliest availabilty at the full service hospital).

So, lights went up before Thanksgiving.

Oh, and our planned trip to Hawaii in January has been moved to April. I'm not going to Hawaii with my arm imobilized in a sling.

Good thing we don't have an HOA because the lights will be staying up until March or April.
