Medical commercials

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Sat Nov 29, 2025 6:44 pm

As I age I am increasingly annoyed by medical commercials, especially for shit that no one knows about. The names of drugs are extruded from someone's caffeine induced gimme a raise please.

My favorite part:

"Don't take Beebrolia if you are allergic to Beebrolia."

Thanks for that!

I hate most pharmaceutical ads, yes, and also, this time of year, all of the insurance policy shit. For some reason, I am especially enraged when they use the phrase "zero dollar copayment" or that you can get something for "zero dollars." Wouldn't "free" be more compelling? Or "at no cost to you"?

I get that none of it is free, and that someone is paying. But damn.
