She was a nun who was the chaplain for the Loyola of Chicago men's basketball team. She continued to be a fan of the team and go to the games, and as she got older she got more attention for it.
She died yesterday at 106.

She first got public attention in 2018 when Loyola made the Final Four and she got more press coverage than the entire rest of the team. In 2021, Loyola made it to the Sweet Sixteen, beating Georgia Tech along the way, and she again got a lot of media attention.
