Weird memories

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Thu Sep 25, 2025 3:18 pm

We're watching stros hopefully win this game, when we reminisce for some reason about a trip to LV back in the day.

So, we lived in Huntington Beach 83-86, and Greg was birthed there and we have a friend who's a comedian. Frat bro and friend forever. Argus Hamilton, Comedy Store host.

We went to LV to see him at The Dunes before it was torn down.
Met Mitzi Shore during the appearance and we told her where we lived, and "Location, location, location".
Oh, we had a hotel babysitter, yes. Bonded. Guess ya don't do that nowadays...

Next day Louis Anderson had lunch with us and was worried for his friend. Good news, he's been sober and clean for decades. He talks about it in his gigs. Anyway , Louis was sweet.

On the way back to LA we heard weird bumping sounds, thinking something was breaking. I was driving. It was a Greg toy in a tin.

Point is, no point, just strange how you meet people.

Oh! Vandal! Ima beta reader sorta fir Hamilton's jokes! Usually after the fact, but sometimes before. I nixed a couple.

Sorry to ramble.
Well, then

I am jealous that you got to meet Louis Anderson. We are down to only three living Family Feud hosts.

You're still a shoe ho.
Went to an estate sale this a.m. Dozens of pairs of GORGEOUS shoes, many still with tags, all in boxes. Every freaking one of them 1 size too small.
