Sayonara for now

#1 Post by earendel » Wed Jul 30, 2025 4:52 am

elwing and I are about to undertake a long road trip. We are headed west to see America - WARNING: snarky comment follows -
Spoiler
before Trump completely ruins it
with a dip into Canada to see Banff, then it's California here we come, a "Love Boat" cruise down the Mexican Pacific coast, then to Vegas, the national parks in Utah, and culminating in my 55th high school reunion in OKC before returning home. elwing has calculated that it's about 8000 miles and will take two months. I'll have a laptop with me but don't know how much access I'll have to the internet, so this is my farewell for now.

Have a great time; sounds like a wonderful trip. Think of us once or twice while you're gone.

That sounds like fun! I hope they let you back in the country.
