This one hit me on multiple levels. Deion Sanders, ex-all Pro NFL player and current coach at the University of Colorado revealed yesterday that he had been operated on for tumors in his bladder. They removed the entire bladder and say that he's now cancer free. He didn't tell his team until Sunday and held a press conference yesterday. He had the surgery in April, apparently, but he didn't tell his sons about it at the time because they were preparing for the NFL draft.
Colorado opens their season August 29 against Georgia Tech. Sanders says he'll be on the field for the game.
