Peacock Raising Prices This Week

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Mon Jul 21, 2025 9:07 am

Those who watch Poker Face, Love Island, The Traitors, or other Peacock series will soon pay more for the privilege. Peacock is raising its subscription prices effective Wednesday, July 23. The basic (with ads) subscription will increase from $7.99 to $10.99 monthly or $79 to $109 annually. The no-ads option (which won't apply to live-streamed shows like NFL or NBA broadcasts) will rise from $13.99 to $16.99 or $139 to $169. Existing subscribers will see their rates increase in August. Promotional pricing will continue until the end of the promotional period, and then rise to the then-current rates.

The only way for existing customers to avoid the price rise is to switch from a monthly to an annual plan before Wednesday. That locks in the current rate for one year.

NBC is test-marketing Peacock Select, a limited service that will begin when the price increases go into effect. That will offer the current season of NBC and Bravo shows and a limited number of library titles for $7.99 a month or $79 a year (with limited ads).
