CBS has had more cancellations than usual this season, so they've announced several new series, some of which seem quite interesting:
  • CIA -- Despite the title, it's a spinoff of the FBI series from Dick Wolf. Tom Ellis (Lucifer) plays a rule-breaking CIA agent teamed with a by-the-book FBI agent (not yet cast) to work on cases in the US that cross jurisdictional lines.

  • Boston Blue -- Spinoff of Blue Bloods with Donnie Wahlberg as his Blue Bloods role of Danny Regan, now working for the Boston PD.
  • Sheriff Country -- Spinoff of Fire Country with Morena Baccarin as the sheriff of the small California town where Fire Country takes place.
Every one is based on government employees. Humm.
