One of those “This is a fake” stories. Unfortunately not.

The 'Batman Forever' star died on Tuesday, April 1, of pneumonia, his daughter told The New York Times

That's too bad -- he would have played in more movies, like Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman did -- if only he'd had a few more years to do it in. My favorite Val Kilmer is Tombstone. I've watched that scene where he shoots Ringo a dozen times on You Tube -- not that it ever actually happened, but it's glorious moviemaking.
