prayer request please

#1 Post by lilyvonschtupp26 » Mon May 12, 2008 10:20 am

Hubby is having his gallbladder out later today. It's infected with a large stone. They don't know if they can do it laparoscopically because he had a previous abdominal operation and they fear adhesions.

I'm off to the hospital now. Send the vibes that way please. I'll check in when I can.

Good vibes! Tell him he's going to join many Bored members.

Good vibes.

Someone I know had it done laproscopically & then had to have more surgery because a stone they hadn't seen had escaped & was still on its way somewhere, so I hope they do for hubby whatever is best.

The vibes worked! The surgery was done with the scope so he can go home tomorrow. I was really worried because he had a previous abdominal surgery and the surgeon was concerned about adhesions. They had to cut thru adhesions to get to the GB, but they could do it!

Woo! Woo! I will have a good night's sleep tonight. nighty, nite. Thanks for all the prayers and good vibage!

Rest well. I'm glad the surgery went as planned and his recovery is quick and complete.
