I spent two winters in Cold Lake, in NE Alberta. 'Tis just a dusting in Buffalo.

Two of my great-granddaughters live in a Buffalo suburb. They're visiting their mother, Brittany, this week, and they'll be shocked when they return home.

I'm just curious to see what will happen in the first round of the College Football Playoff if a team like Notre Dame or Penn State hosts a southern team in those types of conditions.

It was fun to watch. Kept thinking what a kick T-Bone would get out of it, and how well Buffalo is doing.

It was a snowy blizzardy game where they stomped the Phoenix Cardinals in 1990 that turned me into a Bills fan for the first half of the 90's. I can still picture Cards punter Rich Camarillo trying to simultaneously stay warm, keep from getting blown over, and receive the snap in that game....
