You don't know the name, but if you've ever seen a James Bond movie, you know his music. He was the guitarist who performed the very noticeable guitar riff in the James Bond Theme in every Bond film from Dr. No to the present day, and James Barry brought him in for the theme especially to add more oomph to it. Flick also was part of the orchestra backing up Petula Clark on Downtown, Peter and Gordon on A World Without Love and Tom Jones on It's Not Unusual, as well as performing on Shirley Bassey's rendition of the Goldfinger title song.
