You may not realize it, but they pretty much play college football every day of the week now, including Wednesday. Tonight, Kennesaw State, playing its first year as an FBS team in Conference USA, defeated Liberty 27-24. To put the game in perspective, Kennesaw State was 0-6 going into the game and Liberty was 5-0, with a 17-game regular season unbeaten streak. The year before, Liberty won Conference USA and played in the Fiesta Bowl. Liberty was a 27-point favorite. According to ESPN, this was the first time in 23 years a team with an 0-5 or worse record beat a team with a 5-0 or better record.
