Okay, so our men's gymnastic team has "Clark Kent" - adorbs and so, so talented, but Turkey has their own freakin' James Bond in shooting. That is one scary guy.

Re: Olympics
you know I really wish I had the ability to recorded the whole shooting event. (I am pretty sure it was either air rifle most likely or air pistol possibly based on the original date of the document, this would have been like 20 to 30 recordings ago and I wasn't more specific in the notes) it looks like it was legendary based on the commentary but we only got to see the last seven minutes which was well worth those seven minutes but I would love to see at least a good 30 minutes of this epic close competition. (which I thought it was since it was only labelled rowing and shooting I thought half of it would be rowing in the other half would be shooting when I chose a slot 2 weeks ago)
I had some thing but it is outdated since I was able to get stuff working towards the end. at this point it is either a block (granted keep in mind this is a cable DVR) or hey Siri I just came up with maybe it had to do with the amount of stuff in that one folder because it took me about a half a minute to a multiple minutes to open the section each time I needed to do something with it. it will also explain why the Telemundo area (which in reality was just everything that did not fit in the NBC thing, it seem even automatic because things from NBC was there) worked.
I just gotta say for the shooting event (air rifle) they literally said the wrong two people that was actually on the screen at the time and continued for about three minutes.(which is a different problem than the gymnastic, gymnastics they did that on purpose, this one they seem to actually think that the other two on the screen)
I enjoy gymnastics qualifier though we didn't see many of the mixed groups (basically when a country only has one gymnast) in qualifier 1 and announcer used as 'the pregame show' for America, which I like the American team as American but it's not exactly relevant) I know every country does this but when the main summary of a lot of the people is 'you competed against them once' with nothing else it just makes you look like a bad sport. out of all the ones that I watched (qualifier 1 , A portion of qualifier 2 , qualifier 5 (I am not sure if I saw qualifier 3)) qualifier 1 was done the best since I feel it was filmed somewhat equally or at the very least not lopsided. granted like I said the bigger issue here is that they are leaving out a lot of the smaller countries which I do not think is good. (keep in mind even though I have edited and added it is at its core made before the finals which do not even get me started)
I have to admit a few times I was confused with the UK thinking it looks almost like the US one at one point. (The 2008 and possibly 2016 my best guess is where my memory is tricky me) granted if I want to say which was the best I would say the Romanian team even if they lost was beautiful. there was this one routine that was so eloquent it did not even seem point driven it just seemed beautiful. (something rare in the sport for obvious reasons) The American team I would say would definitely also.I do want to mention that their floor exercise particularly was beautiful along with UK.
granted they did do a great job for the cross country and dressage. There weird decent inclusion of dressage and fencing make me think of that one guy from Vegas from the 60s that ran a channel that he made sure he played western cowboy movies it is that heavy handed. I can't imagine the main population that is interested in dressage and table tennis with fencing is probably less than the male people who want to see cowboy and plane movies in the 60s. (I made this during the first week it gets worse, there was a situation where I was looking at 4 in the morning and the schedule was changed by two in the afternoon. I was able to get a question but the original one was replaced with handball.
We need to (or at least it would be cool) get the south asian games, with the amount of times these are mentioned I feel like we must be missing a piece of the puzzle by not watching these and that the Olympics are basically a continuation of the Southeast Asian Games. (I mean you have to just watch five seconds of archery to get to that point though many other sports as well but that one is the most) I am not sure why this is not commented more (The Olympics ,not the south-eastern Asian games) but it might be over but we can still talk about it. not expecting everything but I would definitely love to hear some responses.

Re: Olympics
fencing was great. The gold foil was a you cannot blink style. And I love Japan and Canada's match so much. and the previous one epee also had some great moments. women's sabre fencing is in I will say that the recording begins one hour in because they put soccer for the first hour. (this was labelled as a single recording, not a group recording) granted we had a match with Korea and Ukraine, this was a great match both teens fighting it out. as much as I loved and adored I will admit that gold foil had more of the 'wow I cannot believe I am seeing this' factor but there were some great moves for this gold sabre match. I should mention that they begin the broadcast at match 3 of 9 Midway so if there's something I am missing from the first two rounds that is the broadcast fault. I am just happy that nothing cut off because I was worried that maybe the whole match got moved ahead and it was going to cut off on the DVR recording but that never came into play.
if I have to say which sport was best broadcast I would say trampoline. everything about it was perfect. I know I can play a lot if you wanna see what I think is good the TV broadcast of ladies trampoline is a great example of doing broadcast right. show every team explain everything about the sport and continue going at a nice pace.
women's team (and mixed teams) archery was nice. why they seem to have the same announcers from dressage I do not know. (rest is about women's teams) I should mention at the end when they decided to put the camera towards the leaderboard someone actually drop the camera and it shaked to the floor during the gold match. (granted that did not affect the game since everything was done but something interesting) Granted when in the very very approximate comments of 'this is the best scores in the sport' was kind of a given. I also wished they did the Dutch a little better with the Mexican, Dutch bronze match but the rest were better.
it is clear that they get it separate spelling then the people in the booth and do the name on the tv got because one of them used obviously an alternate spelling with different letters, The NBC team really needs to get better equipment, not only do they have broadcast issues they literally have equipment issues. I just find it strange why would they get two different spellings but There is not a doubt in my mind that that is what's going on because of weirdly enough uncle. The gymnastics final I am not even going to go into a deep in the end. they manipulated someone's routine in the broadcast in that just crosses a line. I felt so much shame even if it was not a team I was rooting on you should not do a time lapse on the gymnastics routine. all arounds were somewhere better. I just wish they decided to do it the way they did with qualifiers rather than the style they did here.
if they can only get the cross-country people to do the rest of the sports possibly that might go well because they could actually recognize who's on the screen and they change the screen a lot in that sport. And just in case you think it was a one time thing the same thing happen doing rifle 3 to the point that even they recognize they did the wrong photo. they need to get some quality check here since this might've been funny in 1985 but it's not really funny in 2024 where they could easily get someone to make sure they know what image switch on the screen. I am not sure if this is on purpose exactly maybe this is supposed to be a blooper for later but it seems to specifically be this sport they are disrespecting.
I also have to add for shooting, does this person have more than 10 pre-recorded statements to say because this person is as repetitive as a build a bear sound box. "The tiniest of margins" wow important gets sick the 25th time. if she has nothing else to say might be better if she just keeps her mouth shut if and win she has something to say and begin speaking when she has something to say. I understand people tune in so maybe say it once every 5 to 10 minutes of stuff once every 2,3 minutes. I should also mention I do not know why for the second round they decided to start playing music dance music. I actually recognize that please don't stop the music remix because it's my dad's favourite, that thing is 10 minutes long, I know that for a fact. we also have other techno favourites that I recognize but that is only when I know by name.

I mean it was verbatim and most definitely scripted, not just on the top of their head. granted there is nothing wrong with that, just something to point out.discovered it in high school gym class and enjoyed it. I had a habit in school to get hit in the head with balls (I am not sure how I ended up with bad luck with that) so it's nice that the tiny thing that's not a ball. I am enjoying jumping it was nice I have to skip a little bit because I was at slot 40 by that point and I could only have 50 recordings so If I did not want stuff disappearing (everything is not Olympics based in there) I had to think about with rhythmic but I was supposed to go to sleep a half hour ago.
