I could stretch my arms wide and encompass the whole Scotch section. I guess not everybody turns 50 and decides they want to learn about Scotch.
We stopped at a large liquor store in a regional center/lake resort area with the idea that they might have a good selection of nicer Scotch. I am specifically looking for Laphroig Lore. Nothing caught my eye so we walked out empty.
I did have my first Rob Roy yesterday at a restaurant bar. Now I have to find a place that has a peated Scotch so I can have a Smoky Rob Roy.

When I worked and lived in downtown Philadelphia (2000-2001), one of my trivia teams (I had three) were arty-fartsys who went to art gallery exhibits; they invited me. There was at least one a week. They had open bars at most. I always ordered Scotch neat as I don't like it; usually Johnnie Walker Red. It looked good to carry around without drinking much.
