I absolutely love my wild plum jelly on good blueberry bagels. That is my breakfast of choice. We will make a special trip to the Twin Cities to get bagels as there and Fargo are the closest places anymore.
I don't find plums every year-seems that I find them every other year. Found a good trove of ripe wild plums this year and we (Mrs Spock) got enough juice to make 2 batches of jelly.
In 2014, I was ready to move to the Hell's Canyon area of Idaho/Oregon as there were beaucoup wild plums there. But a few days later driving through the mountains-we found ripe Huckleberries to eat so that was good.
