RIP Caleb Carr

Best-selling author best known for historical novels like The Alienist (made into a limited series). His last work, My Beloved Monster: Masha, the Half-Wild Rescue Cat Who Rescued Me, published earlier this year, was the story of the cat who was his only companion for 17 years.
