Running Man Redux
Glenn Powell, who will star in this summer's big sequel, Twisters, is also going to star in a remake of the Arnold Schwarzenegger cult favorite, The Running Man. Edgar Wright, who directed Baby Driver filmed here in Atlanta, will direct and co-wrote the script. No word on any other casting, but the role played by Richard Dawson in the original film of the smarmy TV host should be a plum for any number of current reality celebrities.

A timely reboot, as the book was set in the year 2025.
