When we lived in Rochester there was a 5. something earthquake epicentered in Maine. Woke us up and we thought our cat was dragging under the bed.

He was on top of us saying it ain't me!

Pictures flapped against the wall and we thought burglars, truck hitting?

Had many mini quakes during our California sojourn, only dropping a picture or swaying a light fixture. Nothing that noisy.
Well, then

Boonie's sister-i-law lives about a 10-minute drive from the epicenter.

She was still shaking when we were talking.

Her 3YO grandson thought it was fun. Of course he did.

Several of my fellow Temple basketball fans live near to the epicenter (although not as close as Monica) and there was some seriously swaying of things.

We are good.
