Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father,'" read the testimony.

Even in the best case, where Joe Biden was unaware of Hunter's shenanigans, Hunter gave his foreign business partners the impression that they were amassing favor with his father. In some of the countries where Hunter did business, such practices are legal, ethical and customary. Elsewhere, as in Ukraine, Hunter dealt with businessmen who didn't care about the law or ethics. The false impressions that Hunter created complicated U.S. foreign relations after Biden became president.

OTOH, in the view of most Republicans including flockofseagulls104, everything the Trumps are being prosecuted for is not as bad as what the Bidens and Clintons (some would add the Bushes and Cheneys) have done for years.

No, you're not quite there. Trump's campaign was spied on by the swamp creatures, he was impeached twice over NOTHING. He had Mueller and his group of highly partisan skanks investigate, leak lies and smear everything he did over NOTHING. He had the J6 starchamber manufactured against him. Not to mention CNN, MDLSD and all the other state-controlled media smearing, lying and slandering him for 6 years now, while they cover up for all the swamp-supporting politicians. In concert, they have a very successful social media and political campaign to label me and people like me as crazed and extremist domestic terrorists. And they cancel or censor anything that is a threat to their narrative. It's as much against us as it is against Trump.

Now, finally, some of the many crimes committed by the swamp are coming out, so their offensive is going into full gear to prevent Trump from getting elected again. These "prosecutions" are a SHAM and just more of what they've been throwing at him since he came down that escalator. They are TRYING everything they can think of, and they don't care anymore how it reveals them for what they are. They are desperate. And they need to be defeated.

You've danced around it here, but the answer is, what Hunter did wasn't illegal. It may have been immoral and unethical, but the question isn't whether Hunter is a reputable businessman or a career screwup who got where he was by trading on his family name. He's not running for office. He's not applying for a job with your business. He's not looking to marry into your family. He's not under consideration as a guest speaker at your organization or a guest at your next holiday dinner. The only question is whether he's a criminal. The US attorney, a Republican, investigated him for five years and found nothing other than failing to file a couple of tax returns. And all the moaning Flock does is beside the point. He can't grasp that the reason why Republican prosecutors like the Delaware US attorney, David Weiss, and John Durham, don't bring charges against the "Biden crime family" is that there's no crime to prosecute, just rumors, innuendo, and conspiracy theories peddled ad infinitum on right wing news channels and social media.

Here's what Shapley has to say about Graves: "Just a couple days later, Mark Daly called the case agent back and told him that the President Biden appointee to the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves, personally reviewed the report and did not support it. We in the IRS didn't realize at the time that meant there was no ability to charge there."

So you have Graves telling Daly telling the unnamed case agent telling Shapley. That's three levels of hearsay. According to what Jarnon pointed out, Shapley now says he was at the meeting with Weiss. As jarnon says, the way to get to the bottom of this is to call Weiss and Graves to testify before the House committee under oath. If they won't or if Weiss denies saying what Shapley quotes, then call the six witnesses who supposedly corroborate Shapley's story.

Weiss also sent a letter to Jim Jordan on June 7, saying: "I want to make clear that, as the Attorney General has stated, I have been granted ultimate authority over this matter, including responsibility for deciding where, when, and whether to file charges and for making decisions necessary to preserve the integrity of the prosecution, consistent with federal law, the Principles of Federal Prosecution, and Departmental regulations."

Shapley testified on May 25, although the information didn't become public until about a week ago. But it seems pretty clear that Weiss was aware of that testimony when he sent the letter to Jim Jordan.

Don't hold your breath waiting for any of these people to be called to testify before the committee. The testimony would ruin the carefully crafted web of innuendo they've set up here.

That's a prelude to cutting a deal with the prosecutors. And Rudy is just the sort of weasel who would sell out Trump to save his skin.

Well, I happen to have some first-hand experience with people who actually are senile or have various forms of dementia. If you listen to what Biden says as compared to what I hear when I visit my wife at the memory care home, there is a night-and-day difference. Biden has always had a stutter, and he trips over words sometimes, especially when he is speaking off the cuff. I don't think anyone other than serious Biden-haters thinks he doesn't know the difference between Ukraine and Iraq. And you haven't heard any of our allies expressing concern about Biden's mental acuity. This so-called senile Biden has managed to outmaneuver the Congressional Republicans for the past two years to get his agenda through, including the debt ceiling negotiations.

As far as Reagan, he didn't retire when he was diagnosed. He retired when his term ended and he was ineligible to seek another term. He was diagnosed five years later. And while people have Alzheimer's before they get a formal diagnosis, it would be virtually impossible for someone who gets first-class medical treatment like Reagan undoubtedly had to have the disease for five years before getting a diagnosis.

An attorney for Hunter Biden says purported screenshots of a text message from Hunter Biden to a potential Chinese business partner where he refers to Joe Biden — a message that has been the subject of intense scrutiny following statements made by an IRS whistleblower — are “not real and contain myriad of issues.” Abbe Lowell, who is one of Hunter Biden’s attorneys, made the statement in a letter to Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo., chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has interviewed the whistleblowers. The letter was obtained by NBC News.

Lowell writes that the screenshots of the message as tweeted by Smith, “both include a photo of Mr. Biden not from 2017 but from the White House Easter Egg roll in April 2022 (long after the purported message was sent); both images portray the message in a blue bubble, when WhatsApp messages are in green; one image super-imposed the Chinese flag for the contact ID, when surely that was not how a text or contact was kept; and one purports to be a screenshot with the '. . .' of someone composing a text (as in Apple’s iMessage) when that does not happen on WhatsApp.” He writes, “In short, the images you circulated online are complete fakes.”
