Prime suspect in the Tylenol murders that killed seven people in Chicago in 1982 and triggered a nationwide health scare. Lewis was never charged with the murders but served 12 years in prison for sending Tylenol manufacturer Johnson & Johnson an extortion note. When caught, he gave investigators a detailed account of how the killer "might have" committed the murders and admitted sending the letter, but denied he was the killer. There were never any other serious suspects in the case.
