I told the Spocklette this story the other day and she got a kick out of it.
In the spring, my thoughts turn to a certain young lady that was my first "kinda-sorta" girlfriend. Nothing serious happened (no, not that either)-except I fell pretty hard-
It was spring 1987 and I was a college sophomore and she was a freshman-we hung out for a few weeks and, as the kids say, you could call me "Gravel"-because she dumped me like dirt-LOL
About a year later-spring 1988-I was walking to class with my roommate and I made some comment about her-I don't remember exactly what it was (it wasn't mean or dirty)-maybe something about it being a year since we hung out or something like that.
We were waiting for a stoplight and I turned around and her brother was right behind me-he obviously heard and that is how I know that looks can't kill-because if they did I would have been dead these 35 years.

If you made a non-mean, non-dirty innocent comment, why would he give you the dirty look?
A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.
