Went to a newer area steakhouse for Mrs. Spock's birthday (Zens in Fergus Falls).
I was waiting to try the rack of lamb. I convinced her to buy surf and turf and add a lobster tail (for me-she doesn't like any fish or seafood).
It struck me that I have probably had more lobster in the last 3 weeks than I have had in my life previous as right at the end of March I was in Fargo on an errand by myself and chose to eat at Red Lobster (as none of my family would eat there) and I had 2 lobster tails.
That makes 3 lobster tails in 3 (or so) weeks and I can only think of one previous lobster tail on a surf and turf thing and some chopped lobster at a Japanese type place.
Re-The Lamb-it was good, but not good enough to call me back right away.
It also struck me that I have probably had more lamb in Africa than I have in the US as on our 2 trips (2013 and 2021) I made a point to order lamb when we were in restaurants and it is commonly on offer there.
