Retired Florida schoolteacher and mystery novelist. Although her books are currently Amazon best-sellers (probably due to the curiosity factor), that's not why she became a celebrity of sorts. She was the Gerber baby model, with a neighbor making a charcoal sketch of her when she was five months old. The company soon trademarked the iconic image.
