The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

I saw the show while making dinner last night, along with my youngest daughter, and I nearly lost my stuff. My daughter thought that the entire confluence of events was hilarious.

I'm not that familiar with the show's rules. I thought you had to spin if you could.
