Felt like I was getting a cold over the week-end so took a home covid test last night and it turned out positive. Just to confirm, I got a rapid test at the health dept. this morning and it was also positive. So far just like a bad cold. Congestion, scratchy throat, and sneezing with occasional bouts of vertigo. The first time I had it the vertigo was almost constant so not nearly as bad right now. I'm fully vaccinated (J&J in early April) so hopefully this will be a mild ride.

Ouch, shake it off.

The J&J vaccine has a lot more breakthrough infections. After you recover, get a Pfizer or Modena booster. That's what the CDC says.

I'm afraid we'll need booster shots every six months for the rest of our lives unless there's a new type of vaccine.
