Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 102

Quick one today. The rabbi's retainer went out today, so it's official. GW also likes the description of his proposed ceremony.

GW went out and bought some items from BD's registry today. Macy's "Friends and Family" event, with 20% off anything. BD got all excited when GW was gone, because she had gone into her registry online and found out that "someone" had already purchased three of her place settings. <ahem> She didn't know they had gone on sale, and was wondering who among her friends and family might have done it. I believe I acted appropriately surprised at the turn of events. I wonder how she'll react when she finds out about today's purchases.

I'm outta here for now. I'm burned out from our audit, which went well but was as draining as always. Oh, our elliptical is finally fixed. Tomorrow I see if I can still do the program I was on. TTFN!
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

How fun that BD can have each day be a surprise and be excited about gifts.

I also like that people know what has been purchased when they are ready to do so for their gift.

They come one at a time. Been a long time since you had to buy 8, 10 or 12 at once. Full list price is $80 per setting. I paid something like $28 with the sale and further discounts. And this is stainless. Hate to think what real silverware must cost at today's precious metal prices.
