I haven't read the full column yet, but my favorite part so far is that her "pandemic getaway" is located in a mostly white area and then she attacks her neighbors for living in a mostly white neighborhood.

As I asked in a comment at RIR-"What are the odds she has a "Think Globally, Act Locally" bumper sticker on her car." LOL

I have read the full column. Yesterday. The "complaint" about her neighbor volunteering to plow her driveway was deliberate self-mockery. The point of the column was that there is room for common ground even with people who have such disparate views.

But that won't work when people like you are determined to think the worst of us, without even troubling yourself to read the original source material. --Bob

I have read the full column. Yesterday. The "complaint" about her neighbor volunteering to plow her driveway was deliberate self-mockery. The point of the column was that there is room for common ground even with people who have such disparate views.

I read the entire column. The point of the column is there is room for common ground as long as that common ground is on her side and her neighbors admit they are idiots, fools, and borderline Nazis and accept that they are wrong and she is right. Sort of like your position on things.

If, by unity, you mean taking actions that have broad public support as opposed to kissing the butt of Trump die-hards, then Biden is doing a good job of putting forward policies that unify the country. The first number in each line is public support for the measure, followed by GOP support, while the second pair is opposition. So, prohibiting workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation has the support of 83-16% of the overall public and 64-34% of Republicans.

This only refers to the various executive orders that Biden has proposed. As for the stimulus package, 68% say they favor it and 78% favor the direct payments.
