I made chili

#1 Post by kayrharris » Fri Apr 25, 2008 4:53 pm

and I didn't even draw blood. I'm getting better. I do have a new Pampered Chef can opener than doesn't leave sharp edges, but I don't quite have the hang of it yet and it takes me twice as long to open the dumb can.

I need lessons. The brochure with the photos just don't cut it.

I hate it when I find one of the host's fingers in my chili!

My sister in law made chili for a family gathering and forgot to tell us the handle to her cooking spoon had broken off while she was making it. She retrieved the handle, however she didn't realize a small screw remained in the chili.

Thank goodness it was found when it was served into bowls so no one lost a tooth or swallowed it.

No chili for me, please. The last batch I ate was the five alarm kind, as in that's how many fire departments had to be called out to my house to get my butt unstuck from the toilet after how long that chili confined me to the throne....
