Rumor says pro golfer Phil Mickelson lost $200,000 wagering with his golfing partners, then tried to get out of paying up.

You posted the "rumor" without saying it was a hoax.

I am responding in case anyone reads only your post without clicking the link. Such rumors (or April Fool's jokes, whatever) should not be spread further.
