"someone" from PA told me that Barack was right.

They are bitter.

Yep, that's why I moved to New York--for some relief from the #2 most taxed state.
I pay less taxes in New Jersey than in New York. Property taxes are generally higher here though.

Very true. When gas prices started soaring up, New Jersey changed from a percentage gas tax to X cents per gallon because everyone was complaining about the price being much higher than surrounding states. Now it's substantially lower and they're complaining about no money to fix the roads and having to raise toll road rates. Duh!

Is Governor Corzine still talking about selling the NJ Turnpike?

I don't think so. I haven't heard about that for about a year.

Really? It was still front-page news when I was home in January.

A couple of weeks after hearing a sermon on Psalms 51:2-4 (knowing my own hidden secrets) and Psalm 52:3-4 (lies and deceit), a man who had recently
become a Christian wrote the following letter to the IRS:

"I have been unable to sleep, knowing that I have cheated on my income tax. I understated my taxable income last year and have enclosed a check for $1,150. If I still can't sleep, I will send the rest."
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
