sadly uncrossing parts

Just got off the phone with the director.

Mind you it is not "no", it is "not this year".

They feel another year of socialization work, and some maturing would be best before he attempts to enter that atmosphere. She said she would have his file kept active for followup, and that next winter, with a couple more report cards and a year of high school, she feels he would cope much better.

We are disappointed. We do understand, but are still disappointed.

Sorry to hear it, but sounds encouraging for next year. Maybe it is for the best, although that's not easy to hear. Give Big J a hug for me.

I like that they gave you specific things to work on.

I am very sorry that he wasn't accepted into the school.

Sorry this isn't the year.

There are many things I have learned about you and about James. One of them is that given a specific goal, he works on it and achieves it. You support him. It shall be so on this one as well.

He will be ready next year. The work he does to get ready will be better for him than it would have been for him to get in now.

Sorry to hear the "not this year" news. It's good that they gave him goals for next time.
