BEGINNER'S LUCK WEEK
Contestants are people who have never been to Las Vegas before. If a contestant gets the $5,000 question, he or she gets free tickets to the High Roller Observation Wheel
Dan Defigio
Nashville, TN
Dan is going for $50,000, with no lifelines remaining.
$50,000: Requiring up to 300 pounds of pressure, which nut of the family Proteaceae is widely considered the world's toughest nut to crack?
A - chestnut
B - kola nut
C - macadamia
D - cashew
Dan doesn't do a lot of nut cracking. He gambled before and it paid off but he's not feeling it now. He decides to walk away with $30,000.

50K: Chestnuts you can crack with your hands after roasting. Hickory nuts require a hammer, soaking, that kind of stuff. But are not up there. Cashews are inside a shell with urushiol (poison ivy chem) inside. Don't think hard to crack, just dangerous. So its kola vs macademia. 50/50 & if that doesn't help, +1

I'd use the 50:50 (if I still have it) and hope B and C weren't the remaining answers.
