Marriage Proposal FAIL

#1 Post by silverscreenselect » Mon May 01, 2017 1:26 pm

It was bound to happen sometime. A fan at the Red Sox-Cubs game Sunday night at Fenway Park issued a very marriage proposal to his girlfriend and she said no.

I don't have a good way at work to look up the video, but apparently someone photographed the no longer so happy couple arguing afterward.

I proposed in public, but not on a big screen. At a comedy club of all places. Perhaps I should tell the story?

This happens several times a year, it seems like.

Sometimes, it is real, and sometimes it is fake.

I seem to remember some comedy site (maybe College Humor) did it. (Of course, based on the NASCAR thread, I could be way off. :) )

I proposed to my wife by putting in the bio of the playbill of a play that we were doing together.
