The Boney 500: Album #23

23. BLOOD SWEAT & TEARS (2nd Album)-BLOOD SWEAT & TEARS (1969)

When Al Kooper left after their first album, BS & T regrouped and released what would become a Grammy winner for Album of the Year
(not a BAD choice, but it beat out Abbey Road, so...) Adding vocalist David Clayton-Thomas, they struck gold with a terrific hybrid
of jazz, rock, and soul...even a little classical. They'd never again match the quality of this record, but this was one excellent
record. No complete You Tube link available, so try this one(click on the arrow for the first song, it should play the whole album
in order):

This is An Excellent Choice.
